Tomás Reyes

My name is Tomas Reyes, I am arriving… arriving to the world of civil society, to work with all the enthusiasm. My professional life has been linked to business for almost 25 years, working in various industries with different teams and people. I now assume the Executive Board of America Solidaria as a great service opportunity, to create networks and alliances that allow us to move forward in overcoming poverty. I am moved by the social transformation, the opportunity we have to change together inequality and to move as a continent from competition to collaboration.

I am Waleska Ureta. It was destiny that led me to volunteer with America Solidaria. There is no turning back once you become aware of other realities and assume responsibility. Every day I am convinced that our hemisphere will be able to write its own history, with true justice, brotherhood and pride among its peoples. There is a piece of paper  that says that I have a degree in psychology from the Universidad de Chile. It  has helped me the most in becoming the professional that I am today are my greatest roles –mother, friend, event and party coordinator– and for that I feel truly blessed.
